Stamford, CT - 3 June 2008: Alphacet has launched a new ASP trial program that gives clients 90-day access to test the features and capabilities of Alphacet Discovery, the company's straight-through-processing platform for quantitative strategy development and deployment.
Alphacet's clients get into Discovery
Alphacet also announced today that it will be working with BT and Interactive Data Corporation to launch the new platform. BT will provide secure hosting services to Alphacet through Radianz Proximity Solution, while Interactive Data will deliver a "broad, flexible range" of low latency and historical market data feeds for Alphacet Discovery. In addition, Alphacet expects to add a broad range of end-of-day pricing and reference data from Interactive Data to its platform. Integrated tick and corporate actions data will be processed by Alphacet partner OneMarketData.
Our ASP trial gives clients an easy, no-commitment way to experience the full features and power of Alphacet Discovery,” Peter Sibirzeff, CEO of Alphacet, told reporters. “We are confident that if clients use Alphacet Discovery’s real-time multi-asset-class development platform, they will deploy it.”
The ASP trial includes real time, fundamental and historical data for equities, fixed income, foreign exchange and commodities in North America and Europe, plus corporate-action services, via BT’s fully hosted and managed data center. The Alphacet ASP product offering is preconfigured and can be used by multiple client user groups in multiple locations as a shared interactive development platform. No client installations are required and actual
set-up time can be completed in one day.
The Alphacet Discovery (AD) ASP trial consists of a 90-day turn-key program that gives clients access to a fully integrated AD/Interactive Data/OMD installation, with secure hosting at a BT data center. Users will access
Alphacet Discovery via Citrix. The commercial launch of Alphacet Discovery, which has been in development
and testing for more than four years, is planned for the second quarter of 2008. More from www.alphacet.com
